Follow all the stages in the production of this famous cheese, a journey rich in meaning and sensations that you can enjoy at your own pace in around 1½ hours: films, exhibitions, a visit to the cowshed, demonstrations of Munster cheese production, a guided cheese tasting accompanied by a glass of wine from the Maison du Fromage special vintage, or a glass of organic syrup...
Little by little, as you progress through the tour, you will understand what makes this valley so beautiful and unique. The Maison du Fromage is a lively, authentic and fun place to discover with the whole family!

The objects tell the story of the marcaires' arts and traditions
Step inside the marcaires' barn and immerse yourself in their ancestral know-how. Numerous objects on display recount their way of life, including cheese-making, both past and present.
Games for young and old alike
Put the cows in the right places; touch and turn the marcaire outfit the right way round; try your hand at milking our resin cow. There's so much to do at La Maison du Fromage.
Munster cheese will hold no more secrets for you
A fun olfactory journey will allow you to discover this cheese in an unexpected way.
Finally, the tasting, as the grand finale to the visit, will allow you to appreciate all the authenticity of the terroir !
